Autumn Term 2008

My Apologies

Today, Tuesday 4th November I managed to delete the site while trying to upload my sister site www.stneots-science.co.uk and pressed the wrong button.  I have spent the last couple of hours putting the mess back together again.  There will be some images missing; I will have to replace these.  Since it's quite a complex site with several layers of folders, it didn't transfer across so easily.

A bad workman blames his tools.  I am sorry.

This Year

I wish you the very best in your new courses.

I have not yet revamped the site because I have been preparing schemes of work for my new A level course and a new GCSE course as well.

However for AQA Physics Module 1:

Electricity can be found in the old Module 3, while Particle Physics can be found in the old Module 1.

For AQA Physics Module 2:

Mechanics can be found in the old Module 2, while Waves can be found in the Old Module 1.  There is some stuff on Properties of Materials to be found in the old Module 3.

New Resources

I am preparing new resources for teachers, based on what I have done for St Neots.  There won't be all the irrelevant stuff such as self-assessment reports.  There will be schemes of work, practicals, answers to text book questions, examinations, and mark schemes, as well as my own PowerPoints.  I have used the Phyzzing Physics PowerPoints extensively, but since they are not mine to give away, I won't include them.

Enjoy!

James

Please Note:

These pages are offered in good faith. The notes have been written with a great deal of care, and every effort has been made to ensure they are accurate.

However, since I cannot control the way in which they are used, I accept no responsibility whatever for any student's failure to achieve their desired result.

If you do find anything that is not accurate or can think of other ways of improving the site, please let me know.

If you don’t like the notes, then there are plenty of other sites you may want to try.

Good luck.
