At a certain engine speed, a car’s wing mirror starts to vibrate strongly.  Why does this happen?                                                                                                                                    

The engine is sending out vibrations (P)

which are at the same frequency as the natural frequency  (P) of the

mirror.  This causes the mirror to resonate (P).
