Conservation

In Physics, you will hear a lot about the Law of Conservation of...  This means that a particular quantity remains unchanged.  As you study this course you will hear about conservation of:

• Energy - you will have seen this when studying energy flows;
• Mass - you will look at this in terms of atomic particles;
• Charge - for example in electrical circuits;
• Momentum - you will look at this when considering collisions between vehicles.
