Answer

Describe how a customer can access an on-line store run by a
supermarket. Give two advantages and two drawbacks.
The
customer needs to have internet access,
which
requires a computer, modem
and
an ISP.
Advantages:
- Order
can be placed at any time of the day;
- no
need to go to the store;
- goods
can be looked at without having to go up and down several hundreds of metres
of aisles.
- payment
is easy;
- goods
delivered to home.
Disadvantages:
- have
to wait for delivery (at a time convenient to them);
- If
goods are out of stock, replacement items of an equivalent value are put in
the order. If you want bananas, a carton of dishwasher powder is not
much good.
- cannot
see every brand to see what they are like.
