What resources and factors should an employer consider in designing an office in which computers are going to play a key role in the work?

Resources and factor include:

• Layout of the office to enable all resources to be within easy reach;
• Making sure that cables are stored away tidily to prevent trip-hazards;
• Layout of the office relative to the windows, for example no desks face the windows;
• Software resources should be good.
• Furniture should be comfortable;
• Procedures and provision should be in place to prevent RSI.
