What resources and factors should an employer consider in designing an office in
which computers are going to play a key role in the work?
Resources and factor include:
- Layout of the office to enable all resources to
be within easy reach;
- Making sure that cables are stored away tidily
to prevent trip-hazards;
- Layout of the office relative to the windows,
for example no desks face the windows;
- Software resources should be good.
- Furniture should be comfortable;
- Procedures and provision should be in place to
prevent RSI.
