be made with these different systems?
- Transaction processing systems enable
operational decisions to be made, e.g. ordering new stock.
- Knowledge work systems enable decisions
to be made at a specialist level. These can be considered as tactical
decisions, e.g. what metal compositions are used in a bearing.
- Management support systems used by senior
managers to make strategic decisions, e.g. to build a new factory.
